Channel X is a punk and alternative rock station in GTA 5 and GTA Online hosted by Keith Morris of Black Flag and the Circle Jerks. It plays fast, loud hardcore punk rather than anything melodic or polished. It suits players who want an aggressive soundtrack for a chase or a reckless drive. Morris fronted two of the most important early hardcore punk bands in the United States, and his hosting keeps that same raw, confrontational energy. Tracks are short, fast and abrasive, with shouted vocals and almost no polish in the production. It is one of the more extreme stations on the dial, and it fits Trevor Philips' character better than almost anyone else in the game, which is why players associate the two so closely. Channel X has been part of the dial since GTA V's 2013 launch. Pick it for any moment that calls for chaos rather than a controlled, steady drive.
Tune in from any vehicle's radio or the Media Player app on your in-game phone. Hosted by Keith Morris.
Artists you will hear include Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, T.S.O.L., The Bronx.
