Vinewood Boulevard Radio is a garage and indie punk station in GTA 5 and GTA Online hosted by Nate Williams and Stephen Pope of the band Wavves. It plays scuzzy, lo-fi guitar music with a snotty, unpolished edge. It suits a short, fast drive around the city more than a long highway cruise. Williams and Pope front Wavves themselves, so the station reflects their own taste in scrappy, distorted guitar pop and garage rock rather than a curated outsider's playlist. Songs are short and loud, production is rough on purpose, and there is little polish anywhere in the mix. It is one of the smaller, more niche stations on the dial, aimed at players who already know the genre rather than newcomers. It has been part of the game's radio lineup since the original release, unlike some of the stations added through later updates. Turn to it when Channel X feels too aggressive but a polished pop station feels wrong for the mood.
