West Coast Talk Radio

Overview

West Coast Talk Radio, often shortened to WCTR, is a talk station in GTA 5 and GTA Online with no music at all. It runs call-in segments, fake self-help advice and news parody instead of songs. It suits players who want the jokes and the satire more than a soundtrack for driving. The format copies real Southern California talk radio: hosts take calls from in-character members of the public, run through fake current-affairs stories and offer advice that gets worse the longer it goes on. It works as one long sketch rather than a set of songs, so it rewards listening to full segments instead of flipping past it after a few seconds. It sits alongside Blaine County Radio as one of the two spoken-word stations in the game, though it leans more toward city and media satire than country conspiracy humor.
