Overview

Back Country Radio is confirmed as one of GTA 6's radio stations, and Rockstar has named its genre outright as country. That makes it one of the more clearly defined stations on the dial this early, built for players who want a rural, small town soundtrack while driving the back roads of Leonida. Country radio leans on steel guitar, fiddle and plain spoken storytelling, and it covers a wide range from old school honky tonk to more modern country pop. Expect a station suited to pickup trucks, long straight highways and the swamps and small towns outside Vice City rather than the neon of the city center. It is a laid back, narrative style of music, built around songs about home, work, heartbreak and the open road. Rockstar has not published a full track list for the station, and no in universe host or DJ has been named. Whether the station keeps this exact lineup through launch on November 19, 2026 is not something Rockstar has locked down yet.
