Patrick 'Packie' McReary is an Irish-American criminal returning from Grand Theft Auto IV. Michael runs into him during a store robbery gone wrong, and stepping in to help gives Michael the chance to recruit Packie as a heist gunman. Packie brings the same rough, hard-drinking energy from his time in Liberty City, and his appearance is a direct link between GTA 5 and the earlier game's cast of characters. As a gunman option for heists, he offers a different skill and cost trade-off than the other recruits on the list, giving you another choice when building a crew. He talks about his old life back east with a mix of nostalgia and bitterness. For long-time players, Packie's return is one of the clearer connections GTA 5 draws to the wider series. He is voiced by Ryan Johnston.
Encountered in a random store-robbery event; recruitable as heist crew.
