Caida Libre has Michael De Santa and Trevor Philips working for the drug lord Martin Madrazo, shooting down a light aircraft over the mountains before chasing its surviving passenger down a dirt trail. The job tangles the crew deeper into Madrazo's business and sets up a kidnapping subplot later on. Gold medal asks you to reach top speed on the Sanchez, stay on the bike without falling off during the chase, shoot down the plane using only 3 shots, and finish within 09:45. Leading the plane slightly rather than aiming straight at it helps land those three shots without wasting extra rounds. The deal here marks the point where Michael and Trevor's problems with the Madrazo cartel stop being minor and start driving the plot.
