Dead Man Walking has Michael De Santa coerced by the corrupt FIB agent Steve Haines into infiltrating a coroner's office to extract a supposed terrorist witness. He has to shoot his way back out once the extraction goes loud, binding him further to the FIB's dirty work. Gold medal asks for accuracy of 70% or higher, headshots on 14 enemies, a finish inside 09:30, four kills using Michael's special ability for the Focused Killer bonus, and minimal damage taken overall. Triggering the special ability during the thickest part of the firefight helps land the headshots and the ability kills together without taking much return fire. The mission escalates the FIB storyline, showing just how far Haines is willing to push Michael for his own ends.
