Lamar Down sends Michael De Santa, Franklin Clinton and Trevor Philips to rescue Franklin's friend Lamar after rival gangsters lure him into a trap. The three fight their way through a factory and a running gun battle, tying Franklin's neighborhood storyline back into the main plot. Gold medal asks for headshots on 18 enemies, accuracy of 70% or higher, a kill with all three characters for the Three Way bonus, and a finish inside 13:30. Switching characters briefly just to land one clean kill each early on is the easiest way to bank that bonus without slowing the rest of the run. It is a full three character shootout, one of the clearest examples of the trio fighting side by side rather than splitting into separate roles.
