Mr. Philips is the mission that introduces Trevor Philips, as the story shifts to Sandy Shores for a brutal confrontation with an old acquaintance. Trevor violently muscles in on a rival biker gang's territory, in a chaotic, blood soaked opening for the game's most unhinged protagonist. Gold medal asks you to kill every fleeing biker for the No Survivors bonus, land headshots on 12 enemies, finish within 12:00, cause $5000 in damage to Ortega's trailer, and kill Terry and Clay during the chase that follows. Chasing the bikers down on a fast bike of your own, rather than on foot, makes catching all of them inside the time limit far more realistic. This is the mission that makes Trevor playable for the first time, setting the tone for everything he does afterward.
