The Jewel Store Job is the first big heist of GTA 5, with Michael De Santa's crew hitting the Vangelico jewelry store while Franklin Clinton joins as the getaway driver. The crew gasses or shoots its way through the shoppers, smashes the display cases, and flees on motorcycles down the Los Santos River. On the Smart approach, gold medal asks you to steal the jewelry within 50 seconds, protect Franklin during the river chase for the Protege Protected bonus, and rob all 20 glass cabinets for the Clean Sweep bonus. Working the cabinets in one steady loop around the store, rather than doubling back, saves the most time toward that 50 second target. Done well on the Smart approach with the best crew, the job has a maximum gross take of $4,946,153 and the payout scales with whichever approach and crew you choose during setup.
