The Chicken, also called a hen, is a small flightless farm bird that pecks around the rural farmyards of Blaine County. It scatters skittishly the moment anyone gets close, much like the game's other small prey animals. It sticks to coops and yards rather than open fields, so farms are the only reliable place to see one. A peyote plant lets you run around as one of these barnyard birds, which is a low, flightless way to experience the countryside compared to the game's true flying birds. Rural farmyards in Blaine County are the only real habitat to check for both the chicken and its peyote plant. It is a small, easy detour to make if you are already out in farm country looking for other animals.
