Chop is Franklin's loyal Rottweiler-mix, the only named animal companion in the game and effectively a supporting character. Players briefly take direct control of him during story missions to sniff out trails and chase down targets, and he can be cared for through the iFruit companion app. He barks at strangers and helps Franklin flush out enemies.
Belongs to Franklin's friend Lamar and later lives with Franklin; controllable in specific story missions and manageable via the Chop companion app.
