The Retriever is a friendly, Labrador-style family dog commonly seen being walked by pedestrians around Los Santos. It is docile and non-threatening, one of the standard pet breeds populating the city's streets and parks. It behaves like the other pedestrian pets, sticking near its owner rather than acting on its own, and it never shows any aggression toward the player. You can control it through the domestic dog peyote transformation, the same random pool that covers the game's other small and medium breeds. Residential streets and parks across Los Santos are the best places to look for one. Expect a calm, friendly dog with nothing dangerous about it, much like the other pedestrian breeds found around the city.
