The Stingray is a flat, cartilaginous fish that glides across the sandy sea floor in shallow coastal waters around San Andreas. It is passive rather than dangerous, and it simply drifts away if the player gets close. You will usually find it near the coastline rather than out in the deep ocean, gliding low over sand instead of swimming in open water the way the sharks and whales do. An underwater peyote plant lets you become a stingray, giving you a slow, low glide along the sea floor instead of the aggressive hunting other marine transformations offer. Because it stays in shallow water, its peyote plant is easier to reach than the ones tied to deep ocean predators. It is a calmer transformation to look for if you want to explore the coastline rather than dive far offshore.
