Backseat Driver is a GTA Online achievement for guiding a driver to first place while acting as co-driver in Rally Mode. At 6.4%, it counts as rare, partly because it needs two players working together rather than one player's own driving skill. Rally Mode splits a two-person team into a driver on the ground and a co-driver watching from above, calling out turns and hazards in real time. Winning as co-driver depends on clear, timely calls, since a driver who cannot see what is coming will crash or lose time on blind corners without good direction. This one rewards communication above anything else. A strong driver paired with a co-driver who calls corners late will still lose to a slower car with sharp, early calls.
