Barry is a marijuana-legalization activist who has set up camp outside Los Santos City Hall to push his cause. He recruits Franklin into a string of protest stunts that are usually more about Barry's own habits than any real political strategy. His missions mix drug-fueled misadventures with jabs at campaign politics, sending Franklin along on tasks that rarely go the way Barry plans and often end up more chaotic than persuasive. Barry means every word of his cause, even when his methods undercut it, and that sincerity is a big part of what makes his strand funny. He is voiced by Tuck Milligan. Barry's missions sit alongside the game's other Strangers and Freaks content as one of its more overtly political, and openly ridiculous, side stories.
