Cletus is a grizzled backcountry hunter who teaches Trevor the basics of hunting out in the wilderness of Blaine County. Gruff and set in his ways, he treats hunting as a serious skill rather than a hobby. His missions introduce the game's hunting mechanic, walking you through tracking animals, choosing the right weapon and making a clean kill instead of just shooting at anything that moves. Cletus adds a rural, survivalist flavor to Trevor's side of the map that stands apart from the city-focused content built around Michael and Franklin. He is voiced by Scott McGregor. Once his short introduction is finished, hunting remains available as an ongoing activity, and Cletus is the reason the mechanic exists at all in GTA 5.
