Slidey Cars, also known as Slippery or Drift Cars, is a World and Physics cheat that makes every vehicle handle like it is on ice. Tires lose their grip and cars slide into every turn, which makes ordinary driving far harder to control. Only Story Mode will run this, GTA Online blocks every cheat code. Achievements, trophies and gold medal chances are all locked out from the moment you use it, until you reload a save free of cheats. It never makes it into your save file. It gets used mostly for drift-style driving for fun or for recording clips, since it makes any drive across town far less predictable. Because every car on the road is affected at once, even a short trip turns into something closer to an ice-driving challenge.
On any platform, open the in-game cell phone, bring up the dial pad and call 1-999-766-9329. On PC you can also press the tilde key and type the cheat's console name.
Xbox: press Y, RB, RB, LEFT, RB, LB, RT, LB during gameplay.
PlayStation: press TRIANGLE, R1, R1, LEFT, R1, L1, R2, L1 during gameplay.
Cheats work in story mode only and disable achievements and trophies for the session. Save before using one - some effects cannot be turned off without reloading.
