The Time's Come is the second of three possible endings to GTA 5, played solely as Franklin Clinton. It is triggered when Franklin turns on Michael rather than standing by him, closing the story on a grim, irreversible note that permanently changes who survives the crew's final job. The gold medal requirement is a single objective, Surpassed The Mentor, earned by completing the confrontation the mission is built around. There is no time limit, accuracy target or headshot count attached, so the only real challenge is seeing the mission through without failing partway. Like the other two endings, choosing this one locks out the alternative finishes for that playthrough. The confrontation with Michael that follows plays out in the moment rather than being spelled out in advance here.
