Flashlight

Overview

The Flashlight is a melee weapon in GTA 5 and GTA Online, sold at Ammu-Nation for $5,750. It carries 0 base damage in the data like every melee weapon, since melee combat is handled through attack animations, but unlike most melee items it doubles as a real light source you can switch on and off. Hold it and press the button that toggles a beam of light to brighten dark interiors, alleys or the inside of a cave, useful in missions and heists that take place somewhere unlit. As a melee weapon it swings like any other item in the class, lock on and strike, with reach similar to a pipe wrench or crowbar. It needs no ammo, so the beam and the swing both cost nothing once you own it. It has no Mk II version. The light function is the real reason to carry it over a plainer melee weapon, since the damage side of it is identical to the rest of the class.

How to Acquire
