Sasquatch, also called Bigfoot, is GTA 5's cryptid, a powerful and elusive Land Mammal that only appears in remote wilderness. It is a nod to the long-running Bigfoot legend that has followed the series for years, rather than an animal you stumble across early on. Special golden peyote plants that turn the player into Sasquatch only appear at dawn, and only in foggy or snowy weather, which makes them far harder to find than the standard peyote plants scattered around the map. On top of that, they only unlock after fully completing the game and finding every standard peyote plant first. Because of that unlock condition, Sasquatch is a late reward rather than something to chase early. Plan to finish the story and the rest of the peyote collection before hunting for golden peyote at dawn in the right weather.
Become it only via golden peyote plants that spawn from 5:30 to 8:00 AM in snowy or foggy weather after 100% completion and collecting all 27 peyote plants.
