Street racing has been part of Grand Theft Auto since the earliest games with a working car model, unsanctioned races on public roads rather than a closed track, usually against a handful of rivals with no rules beyond first across the line. Leaked material points to it returning in GTA 6, lighting up Vice City's streets mostly after dark with tuned cars and bikes running flat out. Nothing here is confirmed by Rockstar, so the exact race format, the cars involved and how you enter a race all stay open questions. Given how consistently street racing has featured across the series, its return would fit the pattern more than break it, but that is an expectation built on history, not an announcement.
