A lock pick set is a small pair of tools, a tension wrench and a pick, used to manipulate the pins inside a standard lock until it turns without the right key. It is a genuine skill some people practice as a hobby and one that also shows up in break ins. The tool surfaced in the September 2022 leak, read as a way past locked doors or vehicles in GTA 6. No official material backs this up, so how fast it works, whether it can fail, or which doors it opens in the game are all unknown. Rockstar has used simpler prompts for locked doors in past games, so a dedicated pick mechanic would be a step up if it turns out to be real. Until confirmed, treat the Lock Pick as leak only.
