Clarion is a new name for the series, an offshore powerboat modeled on Cigarette Racing's 38 Top Gun and 515 hulls, the boats most associated with the real Miami cigarette-boat scene. It appeared in GTA 6's first trailer, cutting across open water. Cigarette boats are built for one thing: covering open water fast in a straight line, with sharp deep-V hulls that punch through chop rather than ride over it. A Vice City game without something in this mold would be missing a real piece of Florida boating culture. No performance figures, price or dealer information have been confirmed for it. What is confirmed is the trailer appearance and the real boats it draws on, and that is the extent of what can be said with certainty right now.
Rockstar has not said how the Clarion is acquired. Performance boats in past games were bought from marinas or in-game sites, or simply taken from docks, and one of those routes seems likely here. Expectation only.
