Invetero's Coquette D10 moves to a mid-engine layout, modeled on the Chevrolet Corvette C8, the real Corvette's biggest engineering change in decades. It first surfaced in leaked footage before appearing properly in GTA 6's first trailer. Chevrolet switched the real Corvette to a mid-engine design starting with the C8, sold from 2020, moving the engine behind the driver for better weight balance after decades of front-engine Corvettes. Datamined files list a 1,600 kg body, rear-wheel drive and an 8-speed gearbox. That layout change is a genuine, well-documented shift in the real car's engineering, separate from any claim about how the in-game version performs. Price, stats and how it is obtained remain unconfirmed for GTA 6.
