The Ocelot Locust is an open-top, two-seat track car, and its real-world reference is unmistakable once you know it: the 2015 Lotus 3-Eleven, one of the most extreme road-legal Lotus models ever built, stripped of a roof, a windscreen and almost anything else that added weight without adding speed. Ocelot is Rockstar's British sports and exotic marque, and the Locust has carried that same bare-bones, track-day attitude since it arrived in GTA Online. Lotus built the 3-Eleven in tiny numbers as a send-off for a philosophy the company had chased for decades, cutting mass wherever possible rather than chasing raw power. That stripped-down character is the most useful thing to know about the real car, since Rockstar has not confirmed any performance figures for the GTA 6 version. The light 920 kilogram build and six-speed gearbox on file describe the current GTA Online car, not a confirmed GTA 6 spec. Gameplay footage that leaked in September 2022 showed the Locust was coming back. Its price, how players unlock it and whether Rockstar changes anything about it for Leonida are all still open questions.
