The Taxi is Vapid's cab version of the Ford Crown Victoria, seen in official screenshots and the first GTA 6 trailer. It continues a role taxis have held in every major GTA since GTA 3. The real Crown Victoria became America's default taxi partly because its rear-wheel-drive, body-on-frame design was cheap to repair after the wear a cab endures, logging long hours and high mileage for years at a stretch. Datamined files list rear-wheel drive and five gears, matching that same durable formula. Expect taxis to be everywhere in Leonida's traffic, since that has been true of every GTA city so far. Rockstar has not detailed how taxi services or fares will work in GTA 6.
