The Pistol carries the Hawk & Little brand and is based on the Taurus PT92, a Brazilian handgun descended from the Beretta 92 design after Taurus originally built licensed versions before developing its own variants. It is the most basic sidearm in the lineup. Guns in the PT92 and Beretta 92 family are known as dependable, easy-to-control 9mm pistols rather than specialist weapons, which fits a default starting sidearm well. The Pistol has anchored every GTA game since the series went 3D, and Rockstar has confirmed this version for GTA 6 through official material too. Its damage, magazine size and price in GTA 6 are unconfirmed, and so is how quickly a player gets access to one. None of that should be assumed from earlier games in the series.
Expect to pick this up early, either as a starter weapon or from an Ammu-Nation counter once gun stores open. Rockstar has not detailed how GTA 6 handles firearm shops yet, but a cheap handgun like this is usually one of the first things you can afford.
