The Bobcat is Lynx rufus, a medium-sized wild cat native to North America and named for its short, bobbed tail. Its spotted rust and gray coat gives it good camouflage in scrub and forest. Bobcats are solitary and hunt mostly rabbits and rodents, and despite being fairly common across Florida's forests and swamps, they are rarely seen thanks to how well they avoid people. Leonida's wooded fringes fit this animal exactly, the kind of wildlife that stays out of sight even when it is close by. Official footage from the GTA 6 trailers confirms this cat made it into the game. Nothing about how it would react to a player crossing its path has been shown by Rockstar.
