The Green Iguana is Iguana iguana, a large lizard native to Central and South America that has become a well established invasive species along Florida's coast. Adults can grow long and heavy, and their bright green color fades with age. These iguanas bask openly on seawalls, docks and canal banks and feed on leaves, flowers and fruit rather than other animals. Real Florida spends real effort trying to control their numbers, so a population settled into Leonida's coastal parks and canals would only be following the same pattern as the state it is based on. GTA 6's first two trailers both feature it on screen. Rockstar has not shown whether the game treats it as a nuisance animal, scenery, or something a player can interact with.
