Possum here means the Virginia opossum, Didelphis virginiana, the only marsupial native to North America. It forages after dark, carries its young in a pouch, and famously plays dead when it feels cornered rather than trying to fight or flee. This scavenger eats almost anything, from insects and fruit to trash left out overnight, and it is a familiar if rarely welcomed visitor to yards and alleys across the southeast. That same nightlife suits Leonida's urban backstreets, an animal that slips through the city after most people are inside. This entry comes from the September 2022 leak rather than a trailer, so treat it as unconfirmed. Rockstar has not shown one on screen, let alone how it might act around a player.
