The Round-Tailed Muskrat is Neofiber alleni, a small rodent found only in Florida and a sliver of southern Georgia. It builds dome-shaped nests out of reeds and marsh grass, raised just above the waterline in freshwater marsh. Unlike the larger, more widespread muskrat, this species stays almost entirely hidden, feeding on marsh plants and rarely surfacing where it can be seen. Leonida's wetlands, modelled on Florida's own marsh country, are the obvious habitat for an animal this tied to one narrow type of ground. It appears in official GTA 6 trailer footage. Nothing about how it behaves if a player comes across one, or whether it can be interacted with at all, has been confirmed.
