White-Tailed Deer is the common name for Odocoileus virginianus, the deer species found across most of the eastern and southern United States, Florida included. Its coat is reddish brown, and the white underside of its tail flashes up as a warning signal the moment it bolts. These deer browse on leaves, twigs and acorns along forest edges and clearings, and they are most active around dawn and dusk rather than in the middle of the day. Florida is also home to a much smaller subspecies, the Key deer, though the trailers do not specify which one Leonida is modelling. Either way, woodland and quiet backroads are exactly where this animal belongs. The trailers confirm it is in GTA 6. Rockstar has not said anything about hunting it, its reaction to a vehicle or a gunshot, or any other player interaction.
