Overview

Full Refund is a GTA Online achievement for taking down the thief who just mugged you, turning a random street robbery back around on the attacker. It clears for 10.7% of Steam players, rare since it depends on a random event actually triggering nearby. Muggings happen unpredictably in free roam, with an NPC snatching cash from you on foot before fleeing. Catching and killing that specific runner before they escape is the trick, since letting them get too much distance or lose you around a corner ends the chance until the next random encounter comes along. Staying alert in busy pedestrian areas improves the odds simply because muggings are more likely to trigger where there are more people around to begin with.

How to Acquire

Meet the requirement in game: GTA Online: Kill the thief that mugged you.

Achievements unlock on Steam, PlayStation (as trophies) and Xbox alike. Cheats disable them for the session, so play clean when you are chasing one.
