Orbital Obliteration is a GTA Online achievement for killing another player with the Orbital Cannon, a Facility-based special weapon added alongside The Doomsday Heist. It clears for 8.9% of Steam players, rare since it needs both the right property and a cooperative target to line up. The Orbital Cannon strikes a marked location from orbit after a lengthy recharge, which makes catching a moving player with it more about patience and prediction than reflexes. Owning a Facility is the only real barrier to entry, since the strike itself just needs a spotted target and a bit of luck with their movement. Public sessions make this far easier than solo or invite-only ones, simply because there are more potential targets moving around for the cannon to catch.
