Pimp My Sidearm is a Story Mode achievement for fully modding a weapon at Ammu-Nation, its name a nod to the classic car customization show rather than anything vehicle related. It unlocks for 43% of Steam players, uncommon, since it needs a specific spending decision more than any particular skill. Ammu-Nation sells a range of attachments and finishes for most weapons, and fully modded here means filling out every available upgrade slot on one gun rather than buying a single scope or grip and calling it done. Pistols and other cheaper weapons tend to have shorter mod lists, which makes them a faster route to a complete build than something like an assault rifle. This one pairs naturally with Los Santos Customs, since both achievements reward the same idea, spending to max out a single item, just applied to a weapon instead of a car.
