Subversive is a hidden Story Mode achievement with a title suggesting something that works against the grain of the story's usual authority figures. At 31.4%, it is uncommon, just ahead of Blitzed in how many players have reached it. As with the rest of the game's unlisted achievements, Rockstar has not published what specifically triggers this one, leaving the percentage as the clearest available signal. Just under a third of the player base getting there points to solid mid-story progress rather than either extreme end of the campaign. There is little point trying to reverse engineer a mission from the title alone, since several of the game's achievement names lean on mood and tone rather than a literal description of events.
This is a hidden achievement. Play through the story and it will unlock at the right moment.
