Gerald is one of the first contacts you work for in GTA Online. Connected to the Chamberlain Gangster Families, he hands out drug-running and gang-related jobs around South Los Santos to anyone looking to make early money. His missions are simple by design, built to teach new players the basics of driving, shooting and following instructions over the phone while still paying out useful cash. Gerald stays on the phone rather than appearing in cutscenes, and he talks the way you would expect from someone well connected to local gangs, direct and unbothered by the risk he is asking you to take. For most new characters, working for Gerald is one of the earliest steady sources of income before bigger contacts and business opportunities open up.
