The Los Santos Triads, also called the Wei Cheng Triad, are a large Chinese crime syndicate led by the aging boss Wei Cheng. They operate mainly in Los Santos but make a push to expand into Blaine County during the story. You meet them when Wei Cheng's organization approaches Trevor about that expansion, only to decide his instability makes him a poor partner and side with the O'Neil Brothers instead. That snub is what turns Trevor into a serious, ongoing enemy of the Triads for the rest of the story. Their story role centers on that betrayal and the fallout it causes for Trevor Philips Enterprises. Expect tension with Trevor's operation specifically rather than open conflict with Michael or Franklin.
Enter the story through Trevor's Blaine County meth-business dealings and later confrontations.
