Overview

The Contender is Vapid's off-road pickup, listed in the SUVs class and sold in GTA Online for $250,000 through Southern San Andreas Super Autos. It is based on the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, and its tier C rating puts it in the upper-middle of the SUV class. It suits players who want a truck that can race. In testing it reaches 109 mph flat out and laps the benchmark circuit in 1:09.270, which is quick for something this size. All-wheel drive and long suspension travel let it fly over dirt and kerbs, and it seats 4. It is more useful on rough terrain than most SUVs, and it shrugs off contact thanks to its weight. It came with the Cunning Stunts update on July 26, 2016, and the long-travel suspension that helps it clear dirt and kerbs is exactly what a Raptor-based truck should have.
