Overview

The Kuruma (Armored) is the bulletproof version of Karin's Kuruma, priced at $698,250. It first becomes available to buy after you complete Lester's mission Complications, and it is a popular pick for setup missions where getting shot at is part of the job. The armor plating adds a lot of weight, taking mass up to 3200 kg from the standard car's 1500 kg, and that shows in testing, with top speed down to 109.75 mph and a 1:07.701 lap for tier K, well off the pace of the Sports class. It still seats 4, and all wheel drive helps it stay controllable despite the extra bulk. It has been in the game since the Heists update in 2015 alongside the standard Kuruma. The trade off is straightforward, more protection for less speed.
