The Candy Cane is a melee weapon in GTA 5 and GTA Online, given away free during the festive season. Like every melee weapon in the data it carries 0 base damage, since melee combat runs on attack animations rather than a bullet value, and it has no listed fire rate, range or clip. It swings like any other melee weapon, lock on and strike, and NPCs go down after a short string of hits regardless of what is in your hand. Its whole appeal is the festive look, a giant striped cane instead of a bat or pipe, which makes it a seasonal novelty rather than a weapon anyone picks for its stats. It needs no ammo, so once you have it there is no ongoing cost. It has no Mk II version. It is only available during the festive event each year, so outside that window you will not find it on the shelf at any price.
