Compact Grenade Launcher

Overview

The Compact Grenade Launcher is a heavy weapon in GTA 5 and GTA Online, added with the Bikers update and sold at Ammu-Nation for $45,000. It carries 0 datamined damage, a fire rate of about 49 rounds per minute, a range figure of 150 and a clip of 1, the same numbers recorded for the Compact EMP Launcher. The 0 damage means the launcher does its work through the blast on impact rather than a direct hit value, similar to the Compact EMP Launcher and the RPG. A single grenade per clip forces a reload after every shot, so timing matters more than volume of fire. It clears groups of NPCs bunched together far better than a single bullet weapon, and it does real damage to light vehicles, which makes it useful in missions with waves of enemies or pursuing cars. It has no Mk II version and no special ammo, unlike the Grenade Launcher, which holds ten rounds instead of one. Think of it as the compact, single shot alternative for players who want the explosive option without the bigger gun's bulk.
