Pistol .50 in GTA 5

Overview

The Pistol .50 is a handgun in GTA 5 and GTA Online, sold at Ammu-Nation for $3,900. Its datamined figures are 51 damage, a fire rate of about 115 rounds per minute, a range figure of 120 and a 9 round magazine, well above the base Pistol on damage per shot. Modeled after a large caliber semi automatic handgun, it hits noticeably harder than the standard Pistol, Combat Pistol or SNS Pistol, at the cost of a slower fire rate and a smaller magazine than most of them. That trade suits players who prefer fewer, harder hitting shots over a fast spray. It sits well below the Heavy Revolver and Marksman Pistol on raw damage, but it reloads faster than either of those slower sidearms. There is no Mk II version. Its price and damage make it a solid mid tier step up from a starter pistol without committing to a full revolver's slow handling.

Shots to kill: target health divided by damage per shot (51 damage), rounded up. Time to kill: shots minus one, times 60 divided by 115 rounds per minute - the first shot lands at time zero. Full armor is treated as one flat 200 pool. This weapon's PvP headshot modifier in the game files is 1.0, so headshots change nothing.
Bars scale each stat against the highest value among this game's weapons. Spread is tighter when lower. Numbers carry their source and game version. Hover or tap a date for details.
