Parachuting is confirmed for GTA 6 through footage in the game's official trailers, which show a jump from height over Leonida. It sits alongside the game's other side activities rather than the main story missions, giving you something to do purely for its own sake. Parachuting has a long history in Rockstar's open-world games. San Andreas introduced the parachute as a way to survive a fall from a plane or a cliff, and GTA 5 built on that with jumps triggered from set high points, often judged on how close you land to a target and how you handle the fall on the way down. GTA Online carried the same idea into freeroam, letting you call one in from height at almost any time. None of that carries over as confirmed for GTA 6. Rockstar has not said how a jump is triggered, scored or rewarded this time, or whether finishing one counts toward any completion total. What is confirmed is that the activity exists and that you get to try it somewhere over Leonida.
