Sea Races are a confirmed side activity in GTA 6, drawn from official trailer and screenshot material that shows boats competing on the water around Leonida's coastline and its keys. Racing boats against other competitors is not a new idea for the series. GTA Online runs Sea Races as one of its standard job types, sending players around a marked course of buoys and checkpoints in speedboats and other watercraft, scored by finishing position. Earlier entries in the series also built checkpoint courses and stunt jumps around boats long before that job type existed as its own category. Rockstar has not said what form Sea Races take this time, which boats you get to enter, how a race actually starts or gets judged, or what finishing one earns you. Whether they count toward any completion tracking is also unconfirmed.
