Overview

The Fire Truck is MTL's fire engine, modeled on a 2012 Pierce Arrow XT rescue pumper, a type many US departments use. Pierce is one of the biggest fire apparatus builders in the country, and its pumpers carry water, hoses and rescue tools in one truck. Pierce is based in Appleton, Wisconsin.

A fire engine has been in every main game since GTA III, often with firefighter side missions attached. For GTA 6 it has only been seen in the gameplay that leaked in August 2026, so Rockstar has not confirmed it yet. A fire service would fit the game's detailed emergency response, which already includes ambulances and many police agencies.

Rockstar has not said if firefighting missions or a usable water cannon return.

Performance specs land at release. Everything confirmed so far is in the key facts. The bars stay hollow until we have tested numbers, the same way a hollow wanted star means the police know something happened but not what.
