Vapid's Tow Truck is a medium-duty recovery truck modeled on the 1980s International Harvester S-Series, and it showed up in GTA 6's first trailer, continuing a working-vehicle role that GTA V also featured. Real International Harvester S-Series trucks were built as tough, no-frills vocational trucks, the kind fitted with tow booms, dump beds or utility bodies rather than sold to individual buyers for daily driving. Datamined files put its mass at 5,000 kg with four gears. An honest working vehicle like this is rare in a series full of sports cars and exotics, which makes it stand out despite doing nothing flashy. What it costs and how a player would get one are still unknown.

Rockstar has not said how tow trucks work in GTA 6. In past games they were working vehicles found at garages and impound lots rather than something you buy, and there is a reasonable chance towing returns as an activity. That is an expectation, not a confirmed feature.
The truck itself was confirmed through Trailer 1.
