An honest working vehicle in a series that has few, the Tow Truck is built on the 1980s International Harvester S-Series and showed up in GTA 6's first trailer. GTA V featured one as well. Datamined figures put it at 5,000 kg with four gears, so expect slow, heavy and useful, possibly with a job attached.
Rockstar has not said how tow trucks work in GTA 6. In past games they were working vehicles found at garages and impound lots rather than something you buy, and there is a reasonable chance towing returns as an activity. That is an expectation, not a confirmed feature.
The truck itself was confirmed through Trailer 1.
