Overview

Knuckle Dusters are a set of brass knuckles, a metal grip worn across the fingers so every punch lands harder. They spread among soldiers and street gangs in the 19th and early 20th centuries and still turn up in crime films as the mark of a brawler.

The series has carried them for a long time, as Brass Knuckles in Vice City and San Andreas and as Knuckle Dusters in Grand Theft Auto V. The GTA 6 Launch Trailer, released on October 15, 2026, shows them, which makes them one of the last weapons Rockstar revealed before launch. In the melee lineup they sit between bare fists and the bladed weapons.

Damage, any special designs or finishes, and how they are unlocked have not been revealed.
