The American Herring Gull is Larus smithsonianus, a large gull common along North American coasts and known for scavenging almost anywhere people leave food unattended. Gray and white plumage with pale pink legs makes it easy to pick out from smaller gulls. These gulls work harbors, beaches and parking lots with equal confidence, picking through trash and following boats for scraps thrown overboard. Leonida's beaches and docks are the natural setting for this bird, working the tide line the same way real gulls do along any working Florida coast. This gull shows up in the official GTA 6 trailers. How it behaves around a player on the beach or the dock has not been shown.
